    Regards Vincent Johnson

    • Sorry I can’t recall writing any entry for Chinese paintings. Which museum? Have you a photo of the work?

  3. Dear Joan,

Finally I got your address. I wanted to say hello to you many times but did not know where you live. You look so well and busy as ever in this site David just found for me. I am also busy with my woodcut and will have a solo show in Kyoto, Oct. this year. Past two years, I have had solo shows in Tokyo. Also I have been painting murals as commission for many public buildings which I love to do. If you send me your email address, I can send you many photos. I just sent off a new mural I finished to a private hospital in Kamakura. I am getting more and more colourful and abstract.
We have a BEAUTIFUL grand daughter called 彩(Aya), two years old who lives in NYC. They will visit us soon again.
I love to see you Joan. I can even visit TaiPei to see you.
Please let me hear from you.
    much love, Naoko

  5. Dear Ms Stanley-Baker,

I am making a programme for BBC Radio about Utagawa Kuniyoshi and I am looking for someone who knows about Kuniyoshi’s life, work and importance. Is he one of your specialisms, and if so might we talk please?

    Many thanks,

    Toby

    • Hi Toby, Thanks for your enquiry. The world of Japanese woodblock prints from the late 17th c to this day comprises a huge and exciting field with which this bod has little acquaintance.
Perhaps collectors might be a good clue for you?
      Good luck!
